Sourced from Uji, Japan — our ceremonial-grade matcha is whisked to perfection, bringing calm and intention to your daily ritual.
"Tea is not about performance. It is about presence — and so is every cup we make."
Matcha Mori was founded in 2012 by Yuki and Hana Tanaka, two tea enthusiasts who spent years learning the craft of chado in Uji, Kyoto. Upon returning home, they wanted to share the philosophy — not just the flavour — of Japanese tea culture.
Every matcha we serve is sourced directly from Uji's finest family-run farms, stone-ground in small batches to preserve its vibrant green hue and umami depth.
Carefully composed to balance flavour, texture, and ceremony.
Traditional thin matcha whisked tableside in a hand-thrown ceramic bowl.
Double-strength matcha with steamed oat milk and a drizzle of dark honey.
Cold matcha espresso poured over a scoop of vanilla Hokkaido ice cream.
Sparkling yuzu water with cold-brew matcha and a cloud of whipped cream.
From cupping sessions to live koto performances — there's always something happening at Matcha Mori.
"The ceremonial matcha here transported me back to Kyoto. Every sip is a meditation. I've been coming every Sunday for two years."
"The Matcha Roll Cake is simply divine — light, earthy, and never too sweet. The ambience feels like a genuine Japanese teahouse."
"Attended the Chado ceremony class and left with a completely new appreciation for tea. The staff are knowledgeable and so warm."
Whether it's an intimate tasting for two or a group workshop, we'll make every moment memorable.
